It’s not here yet, but summer will come around quickly.
As is always the case, the change of the season brings with it new colour trends for your hair and this year is no different.
Blonde is dominant, there’s something about lighter hair that just feels right for the warmer months. This year it’s all about shades that mimic sand and sunshine with a sun kissed look. It doesn’t matter if you are a full head blonde, highlighted, or have a balayage or ombre technique, softer tones are a must have.
Pastel tones are also a big trend we are seeing on the catwalks. Baby blue, pink, lilac, green and yellow are all on-trend. Whether it’s a full head colour, or flashed through longer lengths to create a peek a boo effect.
Chocolate and toffee tones are another trend, these shades, be them on a light or dark base are luxurious and ooze sophistication. We love these colours on classic shorter lengths and bobs as they make your hair shine like glass. The beauty of chocolate and toffee tones is that they also make hair look fuller and thicker, great if you have finer natural hair.
And then we can’t ignore the pop colours that we see as being a dramatic fashion statement for summer, from bright pillar box red to electric blue and everything in between. If you are adventurous and like to stand out from the crowd, go bold, go bright, and go for it!!
