The importance of colour consultations

Your hair is very important to everyone here at Rhona McCallum Hair, and whether you are having your hair coloured, enquiring about extensions, planning your wedding, or thinking of having a perm, we want you to get the very best results possible. That’s what we offer a variety of consultations prior to your appointment.

From face to face consultations in salon to video options, plus, for colour clients our ‘patch test kit’ which can be sent out to you prior to visiting the salon for your colour appointment, this is perfect for all of our clients who travel long distances to come see us in Alloa, and for those of you who don’t have the time to visit the salon before your scheduled visit.

If you are scheduled to have a colour patch test, we can post the kit out to you, or we can carry out the test in salon.

We often get asked why we carry out patch tests. It’s quite simply really, it’s for peace of mind for you and for us. Allergies, although rare, can happen at any time. Changes in our circumstances can affect tolerances to ingredients found in everything, not just colour. But, for us here in the salon, it’s of major importance that we know you are not going to suffer any reactions to your hair colour.
