ghd training ‘Underground’

Here at Rhona McCallum Hair we believe that constant education is key to the future success of all the team, that’s why we attend as many seminars and education sessions as possible.

This week Rhona was in Glasgow for the latest ghd training seminar. Ghd Underground showcased their new winter predictions in hair. With celebrity hairdressers demonstrating models live on stage, showcasing the latest looks and trends which we then had the opportunity to recreate in the afternoon practical session. This was brilliant as it prepared us for taking the trends and techniques back to the salon.

The demonstrations were inspiring and informative, lots of great ideas for future styles that we know you will love in the salon, especially with the festive season and parties galore coming soon.

In the afternoon it was ‘hands on’ and time for Rhona to try out some of the new trends herself.

The Ghd Thin Wand was used to create Olivia’s waves. Taking big sections and winding loosely round the wand. Hair was then brushed out using the oval dressing brush for a bigger more voluminous 70’s vibe. The bigger the better when it comes to curls. 

Lately we have seen a more wider bigger curl returning on the catwalk, and we know our clients will soon be following on with the new trend.
