Hi everyone, I’m Gillian, Manageress at Rhona McCallum Hair

 

My job roll is to make sure the salon runs effectively daily, keeping track of staff rotas, hours and holidays. I’m also responsible for stock controls, opening & closings and daily admin. Plus, I help train up our apprentices plus deal with any of your client issues. 

Before work I’m up early making packed lunches and walking our family dog and then the school run.

 

I’m in the salon early arriving at 8.30am to open up ready for the team to arrive. We usual do a morning huddle so we’re all prepared for the day ahead.  

I work on the salon floor 4 days per week Tue, Wed, all day Thursday till 8pm and alternate Fri and Sat.  

 

I love hairdressing I’ve been cutting hair for nearly 20 years. My clientele mainly consist of lots of interesting colouring, and precision cutting, and I love a big bouncy blow dry. I have full families that visit me from grans, dads, mums to high school kids right down to pre school.  I’ve now noticed a lot more boys and guys are booking in for colours and perms.    

In my spare time I like to goto the local keep fit class, and I’m soon going on a yoga retreat to Portugal.
