New Wella Colour Trends for 2024
Wella Professionals, our colour of choice launches new shades and new trend ideas throughout the year, and here are just a few of the latest colours that are going to be big news next year.
Blondes, as always are big news, and the classic sandy blonde is perfect for so many colour techniques. From full head to balayage, highlights and ombre, this warm/cool shade shimmers and shines and adds sophistication to any hairstyle.
Creamy Pearl is a gorgeous iridescent shade that has a multi tonal effect, changing as the hair moves or is caught in different lighting. Ideal for short styles and as classic babylights, the effect the colour creates is gorgeous.
Buttery Blonde, the name says it all, this is a warmer shade of blonde that works fabulously with naturally warm hair, think copper, red, chocolate and brunette tones. It’s a bold colour that is perfect as slices or flashes through straight styles and stunning as a face framing shade in naturally curly hair.
Moving away from blondes, warmer tones are predicted to be very popular next year as well, from dark blondes and medium browns to darker bases, there is something for everyone.
Strawberry Brown, it’s a combination of medium brown and red that creates a softer effect in natural brown and brunette hair. If your hair is sleek and smooth, this shade is gorgeous for you. Classic bobs can look a million dollars with this on trend colour.
Red Gloss, a big, bold, beautiful red that oozes confidence. This colour is not for the faint hearted, it’s for those of you who like to stand out from the crowd. Unbelievably shiny, this tone looks great as an all over colour or as flashes through textured hair.
Glossy Mocha, it’s like the best Starbucks coffee you ever had, warm browns and creamy blondes that blend together in a swirl of mocha tones. This unique colour is great for those who like to be adventurous with their hair colour and creates a gorgeous effect as highlights through curls and beachy waves.
Dark Auburn, a stunning shade that we know is going to be very popular next year with its intense warm/cool undertone that adds shine and gloss. This colour suits most skin tones and is therefore perfect for almost every colour technique.
Hazelnut, a darker blonde and brown blend that creates a new feel to natural looking, high gloss hair. If you are seeing the first signs of grey, and your hair is a medium to dark blonde or light brown naturally, this shade would work perfectly for you.
Naturally, your colour choice is based around what you like, and the team here at Rhona McCallum Hair will always carry out a full consultation before deciding with you what shades best suit your hair style, your natural hair colour and your skin tone.
