Our 2023 highlights
What a year 2023 turned out to be, and now as we kickstart 2024, the team here at Rhona McCallum Hair look back on just a few of their highlights.
Gillian says: “I’ve enjoyed 2023, helping train up the younger members of our team has been a great highlight, seeing them grow and achieve their goals and pass their assessments. I’m now, in 2024, taking this one step further to sit a new qualification to become a qualified assessor of hairdressing. This will benefit the salon and the team members immensely”.
Sophie says: “My highlights for 2023 have been, being part of our Wedding team and going out on location to do my first wedding guests hair. Also qualifying in my level 2 hair dressing qualifications. I’m now progressing on to my level 3 advanced hairdressing qualification”.
Mia says: ” In 2023 I’ve enjoyed learning from Florence the technique of how to tong, style and finish long hair, especially bridal hair. I have also enjoyed helping Florence prep hair for a bride and her wedding party that we did out of the salon”.
Florence says: “2023 – a big highlight for me was being able to put my creative ideas in place when we renovated the salon. This has been a dream of mine for a very long time. Seeing now just how beautiful we made the salon look for our clients and team to work in is amazing. It has definitely been worth all the stress”.
Rhona says: “My highlights have been all of 2023! Seeing the salon and team grow individually with their goals and achievements. With the correct business systems in place I managed to take September off from cutting hair, and now I’m loving only working 2 days per week on the salon floor with the team. I am very excited to see what 2024 brings to the salon and the team!
