New Wella colour trends

Wella have launched some new colour inspirations for us to share with you. With a wide range of colours to choose from, the possibilities are endless and with an eye on future trends, these new shades and tones are going to be seen in glossies and on catwalks everywhere.

#TerracottaOrange is a new take on the classic popular copper tones that are always fashionable as the seasons change. This shade is a washed out, sandy, rustic colour that suits short crops and bob styles, Perfect for beachy waves as the faded look makes this colour look like you have just had a fortnight in the sun, without the damage that the sun can cause.

#PlatinumRose – we love this as it’s reminiscent of the Pantone colour of the year, Peach Fuzz that we mentioned in a previous blogpost. The biggest difference being that the peachy tone has been replaced with a softer rose hue giving this colour a cleaner blonde result. Gorgeous for covering grey and as a balayage in naturally light hair.

Peach Fuzz from Pantone

We especially like #EspressoBrunette as is ties in with a blog we wrote at the start of the year that mentioned ‘expensive and healthy hair’ being a major trend for 2024. This deep chocolate brown has an intense gloss, making it perfect for all hair types, but especially on smoother hair for a glass like finish and on curls and waves it can give a strong definition and gloss shine.

For those of you who like bold statement making colours, #NordicWhite is for you. Like any high lift blonde this is a colour that needs careful maintenance to keep the clean blonde looking salon fresh. If you are willing to do that then this really is a colour that will stop traffic. Ideal for shorter hair, grey coverage and as highlights on mid length hair.

#CrystalVanilla is, we believe the easiest of the new colour trends to wear because it sits comfortably in amongst most natural shades, can be an all over colour, an ombre technique, covers grey and can be as subtle or as bold as you choose.

.

Of course, as is always the case, we will listen to you and create bespoke shades that suit your lifestyle and personality.
